What is Montessori?
Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms, children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and trained teacher(s) offer age appropriate activities to guide the process.
Why Montessori?
Many of the world’s top performers were educated through Montessori teachings as a child, such as Larry Page and Sergey Brin (Founders of Google). There is even new research as of 2021 showing a Montessori education leads to a happier, healthier, adult life compared to standard Pre-K practices.

What can I say, this school is wonderful! My grandson was a student there and he really matured and grew academically from their tutelage. He arrived nervous about reading even though he was reading at his grade level and this school increased his skills by at least a grade level.
We love Sunnymead Montessori! I had my daughter at another preschool last year, due to her December birthday and she didn’t learn anything it seemed. Ms. Delrine, Ms. Daisy, and Ms. A have done wonders for my daughter this year in only eight months.
My twins just are just finishing their first year at Sunnymead Montessori School and I couldn’t be happier with our experience here. I was worried about starting them full time with them being so young (2 years 4 months) but the staff was extremely welcoming and supportive with them. The growth they have made in the last year is phenomenal.
Love this school. Ms.Daisy and Ms.Delrine are AMAZING with the children. My son was there for a short period of time as we had to relocate for work purposes but in that time he grew so much academically. I recommend this school to anyone who’s priority is education and a safe and nurturing environment.
